I have used a lot of Behringer's products, from small mixers to USB interfaces. This was the first one that let me down. I wanted to simplify the setup in my home podcast studio by running a line out of the mixer that goes straight to digital (USB) in one shot, rather than daisy-chaining a handful of things together. This cable actually introduced a ton of brand new EMI to my output signal -- my guess is it's the same as what Bagel Rabbit describes in his 9/21/20 review. There are obviously plenty of others here who have experienced no such thing, so maybe the quality control was just not there the day this particular cable was made. I don't know. But I am returning it, and will go back to my more complicated solution.Inexpensive solution for my setup. It has been very reliable and the digitized sound is very good quality. Would buy again.perfect sound in 16 , easy driver !I can't really fault Behringer - it's difficult to make a cable that does this and many companies have done worse. But the audio that this cable produces is not very good. There's a quiet but distinct hum and intermittent little pops, and high-frequency sounds are a tiny bit muffled (maybe to reduce additional hum). If you're using this cable outside of audio recording/music production these problems wouldn't be a dealbreaker, but they're annoying regardless. My advice is to buy a 2x 1/4" to 3.5mm cable if you can, and if you prefer USB output, maybe consider getting a cheapish USB mixer.I have a sound board that I connect to my computer for audio capture. Up until getting this product, I was using a 1/4" to 3.5mm audio jack adapter to take the aux output from my sound board and connect to the "Line In" on the computer. The audio quality was terrible and full of noise. This USB adapter solved that problem completely! The noise issue is completely gone and the audio sounds crystal clear, I even had to turn down the input volume because the USB adapter input is substantially louder than the Line In volume was.Overall, for $20 it's a very good buy, and definitely something I'd recommend for anyone that wants to upgrade their audio capture quality.I got this cable to capture the output that would otherwise go to my speakers and feed both into a single USB for iivecasting. It did the trick.I was struggling to record Audio output from my Mixer till I bought this. Easy Plug and play, connects to my Control room line output on Mixer and records music mix on my Laptop. Great audio quality! On a side note, first recording have very high recording volume, a simple reduction from Line out put solved the issue. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a similar solution.I'm glad Amazon carries this item. And for the right price too.The cable is bass heavy and distorts high quality sound sources like a piano or vocal preamp. Only suitable for lower quality sources, perhaps old analog tapes. Wish someone had a better cable. I find it to be unusable for my work.had to have the first one replaced. One channel was very low ; replacement was perfect and the return procedure was excellentitem returned not suitablereturned by post office to amazonPerfect for simply recording from digital piano. It is only 16bit but works well no drivers required. Just for broadcasting a secondary stream on my radio show to another PC. Great value
