This is might be my most valuable possession. I usually connect an external keyboard to my phone with it. I use a mechanical 60% keyboard with this adapter. It makes an external keyboard great for typing. Before, I carried around my laptop for typing, but I like typing on my phone with this much better. Also, I type with Dvorak, which has been supported since Android 4.1, but also works with typing with qwerty.When typing with this, my phone lasts for ten continuous hours of typing, and no laptop lasts that long. If the battery runs out, I can just take a 15 minute break to recharge my phone with my external battery pack, and I have another few hours of typing. My fingers usually get tired before my phone runs out of battery.I like this straight one much better than some of the 90 degree devices out there. I'd recommend to stock up, because I've only seen these on Amazon, and I don't think you can get them locally. They're very affordable, so there's no reason to not get a bunch. I've also used this on about five different Android devices, and it works great on all of them.This also works in connecting an external drives to my phone and tablet. Android's pretty great nowadays, so I'm sure this will connect any USB device to your Android.
