Kids love this car. The remote is good but the battery don't last too long after afew days use. Still great buyOVERVIEW: Bought this for my son's 2nd Birthday, and he loves it. For the time being we're only utilizing the remote control feature until he develops the motor skills to control it himself. THERE WAS A PROBLEM THOUGH (which I'll go over in my review), as the 2-wire motor harness arrived with one broken connector.ASSEMBLY: Fairly simple. Comes with all the tools needed to assemble the wheels. Only thing it does not come with is the Phillips-Head Screwdriver required to secure the seat in (Every household should have this tool anyway). Being mechanically inclined, it took me about 10 minutes to assemble carefully.FUNCTIONALITY: Works very well, just like every other similar ride-on toy on the market. Has a cool audible start up feature for "imagination realism", a working radio, horn, and headlights.RADIO: Radio is decently loud. Sound quality isn't great but little children wouldn't know the difference between good and bad music audio quality. USB port doesn't work with iPhones. Could possibly work with a usb stick, but I haven't tried it yet. Auxiliary cord works well.REMOTE CONTROL: Remote control works great, although you have to stay decently close to the vehicle when operating otherwise you will lose connection. Remote control has the ability to change speed settings on the fly which is great.PROBLEM: As stated earlier the car came fresh out the box with a broken wiring harness (refer to photo attached to review). The wires and connectors are fairly decent and are soldered fairly well (pretty good quality for high quantity Chinese manufacturing) and this one just so happen to be broke upon arrival. This may have occurred during their packaging process, or it may have slipped past their quality control team (the main reason for my 3 out of 5 star review). It was a fairly easy fix for me so it's no big deal, just a quick solder and we were good to go.SUMMARY: For the price, this was definitely an O.K purchase in my book. My kid loves cars and anything with wheels, so he is definitely enjoying the product! Don't let my broken wire harness comment scare you out of buying it yourself though, I would recommend this toy for others to purchase.I've been doing some research and came with this for my then 2 year old daughter's first conscious/awareness of Santa's gift-under-tree for Christmas. Oh boy how this has changed her outdoor experience! We've become the attraction in town in this exotic luxury vehicle, and the joy of her playing USB infused Frozen songs as she leisurely drives into the heart of our neighborhood (the lake) whilst getting the "awww" attraction of jealous pedestrians as she breezes through the shops is in one word, spectacular.'Nough about the experience, but the ride itself is comfy. I like the remote, though as cheap as it is functionality wise it works. Wife has a bit of a problem steering cuz steering to a straight center is near impossible, but to me, it feels like trying to play a game of GTA when you acquire your first sports car and try to delicately park it without a scratch. Also wish there was a way to stop from my daughter accidentally stepping on the accelerator, but fearful of the immense speed in this thing (and that she is unlicensed) she tries to avoid it and let daddy do the grunt work remotely. Talking of speed, the three speed is quite cool - level 2 is about my walking speed, level 3 is about a faster walk tempo. Level 1 is when I'm walking while -browsing-Amazon-on-phone speed. All in all, she's ditched her bike, her scooter, and sometimes her shoes and is totally into this. We take a full trunk of her favorite stuff for picnics, etc, and has been just pure joy and fun. Worth every penny!Love the width of the seat and that only one kid can ride at a time. I don’t need my toddler wrecking with other kids in the car. It is a little short on leg room for kids over 2yo. Kids younger than 3-4 really can’t drive it. My toddler ramped it and almost flipped it by hitting the slanted leg of the swing set just right. Rear wheel drive is probably the reason for this. It’s hard to drive for little kids, but there isn’t much leg room for kids older than 2 who would be better at driving it. My 2.5yo was almost too tall for it and she’s really big for it now that she’s 3.5. The seatbelt is useless. The “v” style just slides off their shoulders. The remote makes it easier for parents to control it BUT the transition isn’t seamless if you take over with the remote. It stops the momentum and the remote often loses connection. There needs to be a way to make an emergency stop with the remote, too. Overall, we would probably prefer to buy something like this in person where we could at least see a display. This was an expensive gift for it to have so many things that weren’t so great.Overall it's a good car for the price, however It was a nightmare to assemble it ended up taking me 2 days to figure out why the car wouldn't move after being on the charger for 12 hours. But after figuring it out I'm happy with the purchase I just wish they would make better instructions, the lack of instructions caused me to miss something during assembly that was the main problem in why it wouldn't move. Good size for my 2 year old but I definitely don't think it could comfortably fit a 5 year old. This is a great product that my child enjoys! The tip of the charging cord came off to where I was unable to charge her car at the time but I contacted the seller and they responded very quickly and gave me the best customer service. They gave me the option of waiting a couple weeks to replace the cord because they were out of stock at the time or giving me the option of refunding some money to go ahead find a cord quicker. So I went with the option of the cost of the cord. They refunded me very quick with no hassleNot the greatest quality ride on car my kids have, but it’s decent for the price. The car is light weight and easy to assemble. However, It sounds really cheap when cranking up or blowing the horn. It’s Definitely not your average ride on car but it’s decent.
