I purchased this for $17 and it worked great for the 1st three months. just dissappointed for wasting my moneyI was hoping to have found my lifetime cord and it didn't happen. I had three 10' cords and all of them, the tip broke off. Before that happened I was enjoying it. I used the cables gently and normal wear. I just gave up.Do you like having to fidget with connecting this to your phone, trying to get it in just the right position so that it will recharge your phone? Then this is the cable for you! I have a Galaxy S21 phone. My best sense is that the metal "collar" of the USB-C connection is a little thinner than it should be, allowing the connection to have a lot of "play" and wiggle. So I'd have to wiggle it back and forth to get it into just the right position in order for it to recharge my phone. What a headache! Strangely, it wasn't an issue right away but developed over time. I'm not having trouble with other cables, which connect very securely and don't wiggle around. Look for other options!!! ??Had the cable for a couple of weeks thinking that Otterbox would have a sturdy product that wouldn't die as fast as other have; it died the fastest. Very disappointed.Extremely solid cable. I've always just used the cables that come with my phone, but the length and sturdiness of this one has proven to be worth its price. The jackets that reinforce the connection (the point where cables usually fray and give out) is especially strong, and will probably last as long as you will want it.Literally the most high quality cable I've ever used. The click that it makes when it connects to my phone is heaven to my ears. I have 4 so far one for my office, work, bed room and living room.This product live up to the otter box name and reputation. 100% recommended. Get this and try other products like their tumblers and coolersWhat i disliked is the end tip that goes into the phone broke really easy buy what I loved about it was the durability of the cord part of it.I have bought several of these over the last two years, and while if you can find them in an actual store they might have a better price, the convenience of having it mailed to my doorstep was handy this time. The only one I've ever replaced was because I accidentally left it at a hotel, not for any failure to work. We have wall plates that include two USB 2.0 ports on them on either side of our bed, so with the 10ft cord we can make it all the way to any part of our bed and still have charging possibility. Otterbox's heavy duty manufacturing means I trust it and I put it to all sorts of abuse, but haven't had an issue with any of them. PLUS! Once USB-C becomes more standard for wall plugs and plates, I will 100% upgrade all my cords. Otterbox has been making USB-C to USB-C cords as long as they have been making this one.I ordered this charging cord about two and half months ago,and thought its otterbox it must be a good wire, and two and a half months later i decided to write my review because it has broken, it lasted longer than some really cheap cords but definitely not worth spending 30$ on a single wireVery durable cord and cord ends, otterbox products are a great alternative to factory cords and the 10’ length is handy to use your phone while chargingSterkste kabels verkrijgbaar!
